  2. What is the Adobe K–12 Student Licensing Program?
    The new Adobe K–12 Student Licensing Program lets students, teachers, and staff purchase the latest Adobe creative software at even greater discounts than before. This special *CLP-linked offering makes it amazingly affordable for everyone to use new Adobe® Creative Suite® 4 and Adobe Photoshop® Elements 7 & Adobe Premiere® Elements 7 software anytime on their own computers.

  3. What is a CLP?
    CLP is a membership-based customer loyalty program (between Adobe Systems and your School District) that rewards Program Members with discount levels over a two-year membership period based on the point value of an initial order. Program Members can achieve deeper discount levels as they and their affiliates continue to accumulate points throughout the two-year period.

  4. Who can buy from Software4Students.ca?
    1. a then-currently, *full time teacher or staff member (*full time for the purpose of this program means permanent employment and NOT specifically relative to hours worked) employed by a Participating Program Member, as evidenced by the provision of Appropriate Identification;or
    2. a parent or legal guardian of a then currently enrolled, full-time student enrolled in any of the grades 6 through 12 at a "Participating Program Member" primary or secondary school, as evidenced by the provision of "Appropriate Identification".

  5. Who actually purchases the software?
    An eligible student, teacher, or staff member at a qualifying K–12 school or district purchases the software for use on a personally owned computer. Parents or other legal guardians, of course, may purchase the software for the student. A school or district does not purchase or distribute software in the program.

  6. What does the term "Participating Program Members" mean?
    “Participating Program Member” are Educational End Users currently enrolled in the CLP-Ed Program as a K- 12 Student Licensing Program participant and at a primary school, secondary school, or governmental agency which administers primary or secondary schools.

  7. How do I know if my School/District is a Participating Member?
    Visit our K-12 Online Purchasing Conditions Page, if appropriate click the button under "Yes, I qualify". You will then be asked to provide some basic information, including your Province and School District, at this time the system will advise you if your School/District currently meets the criteria for this program.

  8. What is considered "Appropriate Identification"?
  9. Student Verification.
    In order to be eligible for this program, Users who request to order K-12 Student Licensing Products as Verified Students must provide proof of eligibility for the K-12 Student Licensing Program. For students, verification may consist of any of the following:

    a. A copy of a valid student identification card listing the student’s name, the name of a qualifying school serving, and the student’s grade level indicating that the student is currently in the sixth grade or above.

    b. A copy of a valid student identification card listing the student’s name and the name of a qualifying school serving only grades 6 through 12.

    c. A copy of a valid student schedule listing the student’s name, the name of a qualifying school serving, and the student’s grade level indicating that the student is currently in the sixth grade or above.

    d. A copy of a valid student schedule listing the student’s name and the name of a qualifying school serving only grades 6 through 12.

    e. A letter from a staff member of a qualifying school, listing the school name, the student’s name, the student’s grade level and attesting to the student’s eligibility for the program.

    Faculty and Staff Verification.
    In order to be eligible for this program, Users who request to order K-12 Student Licensing
    Products as Verified Staff must provide proof of eligibility under the K-12 Student Licensing Program. For Verified Staff, verification may consist of any of the following:

    a. A copy of a valid staff identification card listing the staff member’s name and the name of the School/District/Ministry where employed.

    b. A copy of a valid staff schedule listing the staff member’s name and the name of the School/District/Ministry where employed.

    c. A valid pay stub listing the staff member’s name and the name of the School/District/Ministry where employed (you may wish to black out the dollar amounts).

    d. A letter from a staff member of a qualifying school, listing the school name, the staff member’s name, and attesting to the staff member’s eligibility for the program.

  10. How do I capture and resize my "Appropriate Identification"?
    There are many ways to capture and resize you Appropriate Identification, here is just one simply way to achieve this on a Windows computer.
    1. Capture a digital copy of the ID, either via a scanner or a digital camera.
    2. Save the file to your desktop.
    3. Right click the file and select "edit"
      Windows Paint will open
    4. On the menu bar at the top, select Image -> Stretch/Skew
    5. Change the percentages in the Stretch box for both Vertical and Horizontal.
      Make them both the same or else the image will not be proportionate. The goal is to have the image fit completely on your screen. Once you enter both values press okay.
    6. View your image, if it is still to large repeat steps 4 and 5.
    7. On the menu bar at the top, select "File" -> Save As...,
    8. Set "Save in" to "Desktop
      Name the file
      Select JPEG in the "Save as type" drop down menu.
    9. Press save.
      Your file should now be well within the file size restrictions and is ready to be uploaded.

  11. How much is shipping?
    Shipping and handling costs are as follows:

    $125.01 - $350.00
      $15.00
    $350.01 - $440.00
      $18.50
    $440.01 and up
      $20.00


  12. May a parent or guardian use the software purchased through this program for commercial purposes?
    No. Software purchases through the Adobe K–12 Student Licensing Program are for noncommercial use only.

  13. May students, teachers, or staff members use the software they purchase on personal computers?
    Yes. The Adobe K–12 Student Licensing Program is designed to provide use of Adobe creative software on personal computers—24 hours a day, 7 days a week—at school and at home, anytime, anywhere.

  14. Who determines whether an institution or individual is eligible to purchase from the Adobe K–12 Student Licensing Program?
    The participating Adobe Authorized Education Reseller determines eligibility and conducts all validation processes.

  15. I don't have a credit card, how can I purchase this software?
    Please complete our K-12 Student Licensing Non Credit Order Form. We will email you an invoice within 48 hours showing your total including shipping and tax(s). Send a copy of the invoice together with a check or money order to, Software4Students.ca, 7496 Amber Road, Sechelt, BC, V0N 3A4.
